    Job Desc: Responsible in assigned hangar for training and assisting supervisors in proper procedures, methods and practices to be followed in each respective duty.
    Responsible for making available the necessary overhaul manuals, Services Bulletins, Airworthiness Directives, and any other required technical data to the mechanics performing the work.
    Supervises and directs the maintenance operations Supervisors.
    Works in conjunction with the Quality Managers to ensure maintenance of the required standards.
    Interacts wit the Manager of Material Control to ensure the required flow of necessary parts and makes recommendations to the VP/Director of Commercial Operations for improvement of maintenance operations.
    Ensures that all shop equipment and tools are in a serviceable and working condition.
    Ensures that all necessary work records are properly executed by the responsible mechanic.
    Maintains assigned hangars in a clean and orderly manner. This includes reporting of unsatisfactory janitorial conditions, requesting facility maintenance services when required, and ensuring proper work area clean-up by production employees.
    Ensures proper handling of all parts in repair processes.
    Responsible for the preservation of all units or parts during processes through the shop and after work is completed.
    Initiates requisitions for stock and materials as required.
    Ensures that a sufficient supply of fire fighting and safety equipment is provided by his assigned hangar.
    Maintains schedule, budgetary control and high quality standards of all aspects within the assigned hangar. Planning, directing and coordinating activities within assigned hangar, and coordinating activities with other departments, as required.
    The Hangar Manager may delegate any or all duties to any qualified assistant as necessary however, such delegation does not relieve the Hangar Manager of overall responsibility.

    Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalentTen (10) years experience in heavy aircraft maintenance, including five (5) years in a supervisory capacity of increasing responsibility, or the demonstrated ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position. Proficient in the interpretation of blueprints, technical orders, test equipment used in the work described above, and various aircraft components and systems.An FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate.Must hold a valid Airframe and Powerplant license.
