I. BASIC JOB SUMMARY
The Regional Maintenance Manager is responsible for the overall operation of the maintenance crews at the region. As such will have the final authority in releasing to service any completed work Will aid the Director of Field Maintenance with Logistics and personnel in the overall operation of other regions as necessary. Is responsible for directing, planning and laying out the details of inspections and other work to be performed in the region.
II. DUTIES
A. Supervision of Base Mechanics
· Train and Supervise Base Mechanics
· Counsel and Monitor Performance of Base Mechanics
· Help Base Mechanics maintain the Base Aircraft as Required
B. Maintenance Supervision
· Organize Crews for Unscheduled and Scheduled Maintenance
· Plan and Organize Crews and Equipment for Jobs in the Field
· Read, Understand, and Interpret Maintenance Manuals
· Plan Maintenance from C.A.L.M. Reports for All Bases at the Region
C. Other Duties and Special Projects as Assigned
· Maintain and Inventory Regional Spare Parts
· On Call During Normal Workweek and Required to Work After Hours and Weekends as Required
· Share On Call Duties with the Base Mechanics
