General:
Hillsboro Aviation is seeking a qualified Turbine Fleet Maintenance Manager for our FAR 135, 133 and 137 operations.
Applicants should have extensive experience maintaining turbine Bell helicopters.
The Turbine Fleet Maintenance Manager will report to the Senior Maintenance Manager and will be responsible for managing all maintenance aspects for our turbine helicopter and airplane fleet (12 helicopters, 2 airplanes) operating in Hillsboro Oregon and across the US. This position will hold the title and assume the responsibilities for our company‘s FAA Part 135 Director of Maintenance.
This position involves managing all aspects of the turbine aircraft maintenance operations in the shop and in the field. Some traveling will be required for quality assurance, assisting mechanics in the field and providing relief coverage during the fire season.
Duties include but are not limited to:Tracking, forecasting, and scheduling turbine helicopter maintenance operations.Managing and tracking part orders for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance events.Hiring, training, and management of turbine helicopter and airplane mechanics.Supervising turbine mechanics and maintenance operations in the shop and in the field.Holding the FAA Part 135 Director of Maintenance title.Overseeing and ensuring the quality of all FAA 135 maintenance administration and aircraft paperwork.First point of contact for pilots and mechanics with turbine helicopter maintenance issues.Providing technical assistance for mechanics and hands on assistance with aircraft maintenance as necessary. A minimum number of billed hours on aircraft will be expected in the winter season.Assisting the Operations Department in submitting contract bids and coordinating aircraft logistics.Other duties as assigned/required.

Compensation: Salary position depending on experience
