FW BASE TECHNICIAN – ROSWELL, NM – C-414
This position will primarily maintain a C-414 aircraft but will also assist in Helicopter maintenance.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Performs all maintenance in accordance with applicable regulatory, manufacturer‘s and Omniflight regulations, policies and procedures. 2. Maintain aircraft to the highest standards possible. 3. Maintain aircraft in excellent aesthetic condition. 4. Maintain ground support equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized manner. 5. Maintain ground based aircraft fueling systems (if applicable). 6. Maintain aircraft publications and documents in a current revision status. 7. Coordinates with Field Maintenance Supervisors and Logistics to ensure timely acquisition of parts, tooling and equipment. 8. Schedule maintenance in an efficient and organized manner which maximizes aircraft availability. 9. Perform maintenance record entries in accordance with applicable FARs, manufacturer‘s and Omniflight policies and procedures. 10. Submit maintenance records to the principal business office in a timely manner. 11. Monitor and account for parts and supplies inventory. 12. Return all core parts, new parts, and support equipment to the proper departments in a timely manner as applicable. 13. Attend monthly staff, program and/or department meetings as applicable. |
| Requirements: |
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 1. The individual must possess and project a professional image at all times. 2. FAA Airframe and Powerplant Certificate (A&P) as prescribed by FAR 65. 3. Applicant must meet recent experience requirement of FAR 65.83. 4. High School graduate or equivalent. 5. 5 years aviation maintenance experience. 6. 2 years maintenance experience on same class and category aircraft (airplane, rotor craft as applicable). 7. Must have appropriate hand tools for make/model of assigned aircraft. 8. Knowledgeable of the Federal Aviation Regulations. 9. Must possess sound troubleshooting skills. 10. Must demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills. 11. Desire and ability to work as a team with Flight and Medical crews. 12. Ability to work overtime hours as needed, including days, nights, and weekends to complete maintenance. 13. Must be available for on call duty. 14. Must have own transportation. 15. Possesses sound judgment and objectivity in decision-making. 16. Basic computer skills. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 1. FAA Inspection Authorization. 2. Associates Degree. 3. 3 years experience with multi-engine aircraft. 4. Manufacturer‘s approved or equivalent training applicable to the assigned aircraft make and model. 5. Previous FAR part 135 EMS experience. 6. Previous helicopter experience.
