Avionics/Electrical Instructor Permanent Position Duties / Responsibilities: Deliver on site H 60 training courses at unit locations via a combination of platform instruction and performance oriented training. Develop, review, and revise new and existing Training Support Packages using the Instructional Systems Design Process. Prepare storyboards and assist in the development of Interactive Multimedia training products. Research technical data in support of our internet based H60 User‘s Forum.
Requirements:
Skills: • Strong background in Aircraft based troubleshooting and repair of Avionics and Electrical systems.• Experience on “Glass Cockpit” Aircraft required (H60M preferred, HH60L / MH60K accepted).• Ability to interpret technical data, schematics, and wiring diagrams to aid in problem resolution and troubleshooting required.• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) a must.• Knowledge and use of a PC and Microsoft Office products required.• Ability to work as a member of a fast paced, quality oriented team. • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Experience: • Minimum 10 years on-aircraft (UH 60) Avionics / Electrical systems maintenance required. • Knowledge of current H60 electrical systems and avionics packages required (H60M preferred, HH60L / MH60K accepted).• Formal Platform Instruction training / experience desired. • Strong background in on-aircraft electrical / avionics troubleshooting required.• Experience in Instructional Systems Design / Systems Approach to Training (SAT) helpful.• Must have glass cockpit experience• Must be eligible to obtain a secret clearance • Salary/Benefits: $50-$65K Annual Based on experience/Excellent benefits package
