| Job Desc: |
Design avionics/electrical systems interfaced with airframe equipment and aircraft subsystems. Design avionics installation drawings, wiring diagrams, and harness fabrication drawings for avionics and electrical systems on new and used AE aircraft. Develop a coordinated plan to ensure that avionics/electrical project objectives and schedules are met and participate in design efforts as required to achieve those objectives and schedules. Coordinate essential information into the document and control area to ensure aircraft configuration management. Coordinate essential information into the certification office to ensure FAA certification (as required) of avionics/electrical systems designed. Conduct ground tests on avionics/electrical systems installed; assist in the installation process as necessary and act as a liaison. Perform functional and operational tests during ground and flight test as necessary. Perform troubleshooting activities on observed malfunctions, flight discrepancies and/or quality rejections; determine cause, corrective and preventive action required. Perform all functions in accordance with department and company procedures, compliant to ISO 9001 and FAA requirements. Provide support to Marketing and Technical Support departments in solving problems associated with avionics and electrical systems installed in AE aircraft in service. This position description is not intended to be all-inclusive and employee will also perform other tasks as assigned.

| Requirements: |
BS Degree.Minimum of 5 years experience in aircraft avionics/electrical engineering. Working experience with Eurocopter model aircraft a plus. Proficient in the use of CATIA v4/v5 (minimum of 5K hours) AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, etc.). Working knowledge of ISO 9001, FAR 21 and FAR 145 a plus. Essential Functions Requires the ability to speak and hear clearly during conversations with internal and external customers; able to compose written documentation; able to read and interpret various types of technical drawings, data and specifications. |
