Short Description: Plan, coordinate, and perform structural/sheetmetal assembly, modifications and repairs. Job Description: Plan, coordinate, and perform structural/sheetmetal assembly, modifications and repairs. Fabricates piece parts using design data. Improvise tooling and methods as required to complete jobs. Certify all work performed. Must have and maintain minimum personal tool inventory requirements. Working procedure and/or responsibility assigned perform work of equal or lower skill level as required.
- Performs complex structural/sheet metal modifications and repairs.
- Fabricate piece parts in accordance with approved technical data and drawings.
- Must have the ability to read and understand all drawings, work orders, structural repair manuals, and technical directives.
- Ensures all paper work, work orders, and records associated with assembly, modifications and repairs are completed daily.
- Advises the supervisor of any necessary tooling required to properly complete task.
- Assist engineering with technical issues.
- Train less experienced personnel.
- We are an ACE facility Maintaining our work area, hanger, ramp, shops, and ground support equipment in a clean and orderly fashion is a daily requirement.

| Requirements: |
- High School Diploma Required.
- Military background/training a plus.
- Requires 5-7 years current experience performing depot or heavy structural repair levels, modifications & fabrication of aircraft piece parts.
- A&P FAA license is not required but a plus.
- Must be able to successfully pass a drug test and background investigation.
