The Position Heli-One, a division of CHC Helicopter has an opportunity for a bright, energetic team player that is looking for a challenging working environment and a dynamic team atmosphere. All you have to do is get on board. The Engine Shop Technician will carry out a range of overhaul and repair activities to support the overhaul and repair of Arriel, PT6 / PT67C and CT58/CT7 engine types. Responsibilities: Utilize and understand the instructions of the applicable approved manual used to carry out the tasks assigned Must be able to perform the majority of repair or overhaul tasks pertaining to the engine types being worked on Maintain required levels of productivity when carrying out repair and overhaul activities Help maintain all shop tools and equipment in a serviceable rate Assist in the intstructions of apprentices Position Qualifications & Experience: Completion of initial/update training Completion of gas turbine course at a recognized vocation school. Example: BCIT Minimum 2 year experience in the assembly, overhaul and repair of engine and reduction gearboxes for Arriel or PT6/PT67C or CT58/CT7 (alternative experience will be considered if relevant) OEM or AMO accredited training specific to the above Turbomeca or Pratt & Whitney or GE engine models Able to communicate effectively Must be able to use all equipment safely Must be willing to accommodate flexible working schedules, including shift and overtime The Benefits CHC’s employees are rewarded for their dedication and skill.
