The Position
Heli-One a division of CHC Helicopter has a newly created Supply Chain position, Expeditor, Repair Order Processes, will report to the Manager, Aircraft Programs and support Supply Chain initiatives by contacting customers, confirming shipping details and expediting the return of units from customers. This role is also responsible for responding to and actioning aged parts in WIP with third party suppliers and work closely with DMC and the Supply Chain team to develop and execute a plan to meet stated Company Savings targets for alternate parts (PMA) and part repairs and coordinate implementation.
The successful candidate will serve as a robust business partner in reducing costs.
Position Qualifications & Experience:
•    A university Degree in Management/Logistics or equivalent education, training and experience
•   Contract management experience within a global environment
•   Strong analytical skills
•   Experience in successfully managing in a manufacturing environment, with a proven track record
•   Self-motivated and results oriented with a focus on quality
•   Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills
•   Excellent collaborative problem solving skills with an ability to implement solutions
•   Ability to work and prioritize in a rapidly evolving and dynamic environment
•   Demonstrated team player with excellent interpersonal skills
Desirable:
•   Aviation experience
•   Expediting experience
•   Experience or knowledge of inventory and purchasing concepts and/or familiarity with aircraft operating overhaul or manufacturing environment
•   Training/Experience in Continuous Improvement (Lean, Six Sigma)
•   Supply Chain/Logistics accreditation (CPP, CPSM, CPIM, CSCP)
•   2-5 years of relevant work experience
