Kay and Associates Inc (KAI) is seeking H-60 Helicopter Mechanic to perform maintenance on H-60 Blackhawk Helicopters located at Beeville, TX. The assigned helicopters are undergoing major modifications and major crash damage repair. Employees will perform depot, intermediate and organizational level repairs, upgrades, crash damage repairs and modifications to H-60 helicopters and their components using technical directives, ECP‘s and other authorized technical guidance. Will accomplish troubleshooting of the airframe systems and perform system check out to validate and verify completed maintenance. . Ensures all paper work, work orders, and records associated with airframe, airframe assemblies, modifications and repairs are completed as prescribed by governing directives. |
| Requirements: |
Experience on any model of the Sikorsky H-60 or S-70 aircraft is a major plus but not required. Candidate must be experienced in the theory of operation and all troubleshooting procedures. Must be able to read and interpret all military publications as well manufacture‘s blue prints and schematics. Candidate must be able to read and interpret all precision measuring devices, such as micrometers, calipers, bore mikes, and depth gauges.Candidate must be able to perform the removal, repair and replacement of the following systems and their components:--Transmission, drive train and power plant systems, (T-700 series engines and Auxiliary Power Unit). --Perform the rigging of all flight control linkages and surfaces, to include all hydraulic components contained in the system.--Fuel and fuel transfer systems.--Landing gear maintenance, candidate must be able to show documentation of tire/ wheel & brake qualification.--Candidate must have a strong working knowledge of the Environmental control systems (ECS).--Hydraulic power systems, and must be knowledgeable and proficient of all component and line repairs. High Diploma or High School GED is required. Must be able to successfully pass a drug test and background investigation. Military helicopter experience and an A&P License is a plus. |
