| Job Desc: |
Experienced Mechanical Systems Engineer/DER to support design, development, flight test and certification activities of Mechanical Systems Supplemental Type Certificates (STC) on Transport Category Aircraft (Part 25) PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Integration of supplier components into aircraft systems - Co-ordination with component / system suppliers on design development
- Prepare certification documentation, Certification Plans, Analysis Reports, Design Compliance Reports, etc.
- Exercise DER functions by making findings of compliance with CFR 14 Part 25 requirements in accordance with FAA authorization
- Prepare systems test plans, witness tests and analysis of results
- Interface with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and other regulatory agencies on certification issues.
- Function as a member of the Designation Alteration Station (DAS) and Organization Designation Authorization (ODA).
All applicants must submit a Letter of Authorization from the FAA which contains Chart C1 Delegations.

| Requirements: |
- A bachelors degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical Systems Engineering or related discipline
- A minimum of 10+ years experience in mechanical systems integration and design
- DER authorization for Part 25 (Chart C1, including safety analysis ( delegations for systems installed as part of a typical cabin STC required)
- Experience with cabin interior systems installations (Air conditioning, oxygen, pressurization, fire protection, water/waste systems)
- Experience with foreign regulations (JAA, EASA)
- Previous leadership role experience preferred
- Good communication skills, written and oral
- Must be computer literate and familiar with MS Office, and knowledge working with Autocad and/or Solidworks.
- Must be able to travel nationally and internationally
