Please be advised of the following position opening within Presidential Airways: Continuing Analysis & Surveillance (CAS) Analyst Full-time, Non-Exempt Job Location: Moyock, NC Job Description Summary: The CAS Analyst is responsible for ensuring compliance with the reliability and airworthiness requirements of the Continuing Analysis and Surveillance Program (CASP) for all fleet system operations and performance to include but not limited to: • Responsible for the collection and analysis of statistical data pertinent to the CAS program in accordance with FAR 135.431. • Ensures timely submission of Service Difficulty Reports (SDRs) and Mechanical Interruption Summary (MIS) using information supplied through operational data. • Generate reports required for CAS meeting, attend CAS meeting and participate as required. • Identify recurring problems with a particular aircraft or part. • Maintain audits and records of MRO vendors. • Monitor component removal and teardown data and identify adverse trends in component repair. • Identify mechanical irregularity trends and coordinate technical analysis with technical services personnel and the CAS members. • Provide research and recommendations for units, systems, and aircraft to be sampled for participation in time increase, maintenance process change, etc. • Monitor mechanical trends and repeat pilot discrepancies for adverse affect on scheduled operation. • Maintain the Reliability database system to include data accuracy, and report formats. • Assist in formulating effective corrective action and monitors the corrective action by performing spot checks and follow-up audits. • Perform other duties as assigned or required.

| Requirements: |
Required Education/Experience: • Associate‘s degree from an accredited college or university in Aviation Maintenance or a related field required. • Seven (7) years of mechanical/technical experience with a major air carrier, military, aircraft manufacturer, or aircraft component repair station required. • Knowledge of FAA advisory circular 120-17 required. • Knowledge of aircraft reliability program concepts and procedures preferably in an aviation setting required. • Strong analytical and communication skills. • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills; particularly Excel. Licenses/Certifications: • Current FAA issued Mechanic certificate with both Airframe & Powerplant ratings is preferred.
