Responsible for ensuring that all products maintained are in accordance with the Company’s Quality Program and quality/reliability standards, satisfy customer specifications and expectations and meet regulatory requirements.
Direct, plan, and lay out details of inspection standards, methods, and procedures used by the Repair Station in complying with all applicable Federal Aviation Regulations and manufacturers recommendations. Assist, supervise, and direct all inspection personnel assigned to the quality department. The incumbent will ascertain that all inspections are properly performed on all completed work before it is released to the public and that the proper inspection records, reports, and forms used by the Repair Station are correctly executed. Delegate the inspection of forms and records, safety inspections, and inspections of supply and storage facilities to appropriate levels of supervision. Ensure compliance with applicable technical publications and provide technical guidance in the performance of maintenance on all aircraft equipment, maintain close liaison with the executive staff, department heads, and factory technical representatives on matters pertaining to quality of maintenance. Collect and maintain on file, repair orders and inspection forms pertaining to components and/or aircraft processed at the Repair Station. Schedule housekeeping inspections to afford coverage of the entire facility. Submit Malfunction and Defects Report of all serious defects in or recurring un-airworthy conditions of an airframe, powerplant, or any component thereof. Conduct complete Preliminary, Hidden Damage, Progressive, and final Inspections of all aircraft and/or components processed at the Repair Station. Perform other duties as required by company executives.
