Please be advised of the following position opening within Presidential Airways:
Maintenance Trainer Full-time, Non-Exempt Job Location: Moyock, NC
Job Description Summary
The Maintenance Trainer is responsible for ensuring the maintenance department personnel have the training required to meet company goals and objectives in accordance with established procedures to include but not limited to:
•Teach aviation maintenance courses such as but not limited to:
Aircraft Systems, Inspection / Repair and Troubleshooting: Airframe, Powerplant, Avionics, General Maintenance Manual policies and procedures, Electronic maintenance record keeping procedures, Federal Aviation Regulations, Human Factors, Engine Run / Taxi, New Equipment / Tools, PPE, Recurrent Training
•Research and develop training content for new / revised courses.
•Ensure that lesson plans and examination material for all courses are kept current.
•Ensure that all maintenance training is properly documented.
•Prepare business documents, training schedules, letters, spreadsheets, newsletters, and reports.
•Use a variety of computer programs such as PowerPoint, Adobe, Explorer, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
•Read, understand, and interpret complex technical procedures, instructions, diagrams, schedules, and regulations.
•Present oral information and respond to questions from groups of students, managers, and clients/customers.
•Solve practical problems and deal with multiple undefined variables.
•Perform other duties as assigned or required.

| Requirements: |
Required Education/Experience
•High school diploma required; Associates preferred.
•Five (5) years of extensive operational experience in the aviation maintenance field required.
Licenses/Certifications
• Current FAA issued Mechanic certificate with both Airframe & Powerplant ratings is required.
