The Director of Federal Marketing is responsible for creating demand in the end user U.S. Federal Marketplace, managing business relationships, creating influential relationships, informing product development of market needs, and identifying new opportunities for our business to capitalize on. Will be responsible for carrying out marketing and sales activities, so as to maintain and develop opportunities with the Department of Defense. Will be responsible for establishing and managing all phases of the contract process in response to U.S. government integrators and other commercial client requests for RFPs and request for RFIs. Must have a complete understanding of the Service Contract Act, FAR and DFAR.

| Requirements: |
• Must have a strong background in aviation/military contracting• Substantial experience in the Federal marketplace, including sales and Business Development efforts involving Service Contract Act• Extensive experience and understanding of Government contract vehicles including GSA, DOD, Prime and subcontractor relationships experience, Federal Government market business development, contracting process, negotiations, FAR, DFAR, and Cost-Plus• Must have strong contracting skills starting with development and following through with award and implementation• Strong knowledge of DOD/civilian contract types, FAR, cost and pricing analysis, and U.S. government agency and contract vehicle experience required• Experience with proposal writing required• Must have contract negotiation skills and contracting experience• Ability to work well at the executive and all functional levels within an organization• Work as part of the Business Development team to provide market research data, information and insight which will support management’s evaluation of potential opportunities for growth and profitability• Understand and work in all stages of the sales and business development cycle, including outbound calling, lead qualification and proposal development• Ability to identify problems and provide creative solutions• Ability to facilitate business unit productivity and growth by sponsoring and championing new processes, programs and ideas• Requires proven leadership skills, process improvement, organization and planning capabilities• Requires multidisciplinary and multi-organizational team work expertise and team leadership expertise• Must possess skills to collaborate with both internal and external customers• Must be able to develop and maintain potential business partnerships• Requires excellent written and oral communication skills• Must have a strong understanding of budgeting and pricing• Must have a strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite• 25 – 45% Travel may be required• Secret Clearance is a plus Qualifications: • At least 10 years of government contracting required• Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing/Sales or related field, or an equivalent combination of experience and/or education • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal required• Extensive knowledge of aviation/military contracting required• Must demonstrate excellent PC application skills including Excel and Word and PowerPoint• Strong understanding of FAR, DFAR, GSA schedule contracting methods and Cost Accounting Standards To be considered for this position you must submit your application through our online system.To be considered for employment you must submit your application through our website. |
