This person will have direct authority over an extensive maintenance workforce of skilled technicians and support personnel for the US Navy at NAS North Island. Duties: This manager must be a leadership and management expert, with extensive skill in aircraft maintenance / maintenance management. Senior military enlisted or maintenance officer from aviation community preferred or related senior civilian with aviation project manager experience with extensive knowledge of industrial (Depot) level aviation maintenance. Must be expert in leading employee recruiting efforts, manpower management, safety, environmental compliance and quality control applications Knowledge of contract administration a plus. Communications skills and effective leadership of maintenance teams critical. |

| Requirements: | Bachelor’s Degree Preferred. Experience may be substituted for education. Candidate must have a minimum of 15 years senior management/leadership experience in the US Navy aviation maintenance arena. Must have or be able to obtain a Secret Clearance.
