| Job Desc: |
POSITION SUMMARY: Services, repairs and modifies aircraft sheet metal primary and secondary structure repairs, in accordance with company standards and applicable Federal Aviation Administration regulations and predetermined company processes and procedures. Essential duties and responsibilities include:
- Performs each step of all sheet metal repairs and projects to ensure that top quality is achieved prior to allowing the process to the next step.
- Ensure that all work is performed to the OEM‘s manuals and data accepted by the FAA.
- Accountable and responsible to ensure that all sheet metal work is completed as scheduled and strive to eliminate rework.
- Ensures that all work meets company and FAA regulations.
- Performs any other activities as assigned by the Sheet Metal Lead.
- Responsible for completing all reports, forms and checklist as required.
- Complies with all safety requirements and uses all mandated safety equipment in accordance with company, government and OSHA requirements.
- Assists coworkers and those in other departments to successfully perform job duties and functions when necessary.

| Requirements: |
- Minimum of five (5) years experience as an aircraft Sheet Metal Mechanic.
- MUST have an active Secret Clearance with at least 5 years remaining.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation and Maintenance Instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak and interact effectively before groups and customers.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic math algebra.
- Ability to define problems, collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions.
- Must have a current state driver‘s license.
- Must pass a drug screen and background check (criminal and credit).
