The Position: Director, Engines Heli-One, a division of CHC, has an opportunity for a bright energetic team player that is looking for a challenging working environment and a fun and dynamic team atmosphere. All you have to do is get on board. The Director, Engines will be responsible for the Engine Shop - including all work allocated to the Engine Shop in accordance with agreed performance measurements, customer contracts and budgets. Responsibilities: • Play a key role in CHC‘s/Heli-One‘s ability to set the standard for safety, helping to maintain our position as world leader. • Plan and perform maintenance activities for projects within the Engine Shop in accordance with the defined standard based on requirements from the authorities, manufacturers and customers, in addition to the company‘s own requirements. • Manage resource capacity and accountabilities for planned projects as the result of Statements of Work (Purchase Orders / Customer Orders) for the Engine Shop • Create, plan, and manage implementation for growth (staffing models, alternative capacity, timelines, communications, pre-staging, etc.) • Create current and future project cost analyses • Monitor and report inventory levels including reporting surplus potentials and part shortages • Monitor and recommend future Bill Of Material and inventory levels/adjustments • Coordinate, focus, and solve turnaround time issues including, test failures, parts issues, cross training, etc • Be involved in the selection and negotiation of long-term agreements • Lead cost reduction activities and monitor quality and delivery performance • Ensure quality and safety standards are attained and, where appropriate, corrective action is taken in order to prevent deviations • Work with Company financial management systems including budgeting, forecasting and management accounts • Through effective leadership, create a supportive and rewarding team based culture within the Heli-One workshops • Lead regular team meetings to ensure optimal communication among team members • Supervision including performance reviews, establishment of goals, pay/reward decisions, hiring/firing and employee discipline • Prepare necessary reporting and documentation in order to manage personnel requirements • International travel may be required • May perform other duties as assigned

| Requirements: |
• Position Qualifications & Experience: • Aircraft Engineer with a minimum 7 to 10 years relevant experience • Expert knowledge of CAA and other regulatory authorities‘ regulations. • Experience in successfully managing in an engine overhaul environment, with a proven track record • Self motivated and results oriented with a focus on quality • Ability to use multiple business and IT support systems used within the Company which are relevant to the scope of the position • Ability to make excellent decisions and set appropriate priorities • Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication and presentation skills • Excellent collaborative problem solving skills • Ability to lead and manage in a rapidly evolving and dynamic environment • Demonstrated team player with excellent interpersonal skillsDesirable: • A University Degree or equivalent education, training and experience • Knowledge of competitors and performance benchmarks The Benefits Heli-One‘s employees are rewarded for their dedication and skill.
