| Job Desc: |
Maintain and improve organizational compliance to Quality Management System at all sites within Business Unit. Define and implement actions to measure, improve and report product quality. Execute supervisory responsibilities in accordance with organization’s policies. Reports administratively to BU General Manager and functionally to Quality Director. Directs work group activities, exerts influence in the development of overall objectives and long-range goals of the organization. Develops and establishes policies, budgets, organizational structures, management relationships, and performance targets with general direction from executive management. Coordinates with quality teams throughout company sites. Ensure proper communication on quality matters. Support and perform internal/external compliance/performance audits. Maintain metrics to measure quality performance. Ensure the application of the company Quality Management System. Provides the leadership necessary for Quality strategies to achieve business objectives and to develop, deploy, and manage an effective and efficient Quality System. Ensures that the Quality System conforms to established company, international, and governmental regulatory standards and agency guidelines. Document discrepancies and propose improvement actions to avoid recurrence. Ensure customer complaints are responded to in a timely and effective manner. Support and train other functions as needed to ensure risks of rejections are minimized. Prepare input data for Management Reviews. Directly manages direct reports such as quality engineers, quality specialists, quality supervisors, technicians, trainers, etc. including responsibilities for hiring, evaluating, training and administering company human resources policies.

| Requirements: |
BS degree required, preferably in an Engineering discipline. 2 – 5 years experience in Management or Quality Engineering experience with progressive levels of responsibility. Must be US Citizen or Green Card Holder. Required travel 50%. Mostly domestic but some international possible. Experience in the development and/or the application of a Quality Management System in customers’ sites environment: AS 9100 requirements, regulatory requirements, customer requirements. Knowledge of EASA a plus. Demonstrated leadership and communication skills, including a high level of common software and computer literacy. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Strong program management and organizational skills required.
