You can expect the challenge of designing and testing electronic controls, displays and sensors for equipment that operates under the roughest imaginable conditions. As a Senior Embedded Software Engineer you will be responsible for leading the analysis, design, development, debugging and modification of software for electronic control applications for harsh and hazardous environments in the agriculture, construction, heavy duty on-highway, commercial and industrial markets. In addition you will: Perform requirements capture, analysis, design, programming, debugging, hardware integration and verification. Break down the original requirements into high level and mid range architecture and create detailed design requirements. Solve integration issues that involve multiple code modules, code bases, and/or multiple developers. Work closely with electronic design and other software engineers to optimize product performance.

| Requirements: |
Candidate needs to be an excellent communicator, who thrives on solving problems and working in a team environment. Ideally candidate will have a BS degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering and a minimum 5 years of embedded software development experience. In addition we require:REQUIRED:2-10 years experience with Windows CE and / or Board Support Packages for Win CE. 2-10 years of experience in firmware (Embedded Software) development. 2-10 years of experience in C or C++ programming language. 2-10 years of experience with microcontrollers, ARMs, DSPs, and/or PSoCs. Experience with microcontroller peripherals and systems Understanding of Real-Time Operating System concepts, task schedulers, and application development. Thorough understanding of operation and use of compilers, linkers and locators. DESIRED:Experience with CMMI or other mature development models. Experience with communication protocols (e.g. J1939, TCP/IP, etc.). Experience with communication networks (e.g. CAN, Ethernet, etc.). Experience with graphics drawing and software packages (e.g., Visio, etc.). Candidate should also have experience with electro-hydraulic or electro-mechanical closed loop control systems, experience with hybrid electric systems, and experience with automated testing methodology. |
