Reports to the Technical School OIC and functions as a Propellor Instructor under the direct supervision of the RSAF. Determines propellor systems training requirements, develops, implements and conducts training courses. Plans and conducts OJT in accordance with RSAF directives. Performs other related duties as directed.
Competencies:
- Graduate of an accredited instructor/teacher training course is mandatory.
- Knowledge of Hamilton Standard propellor 54H60-91/117 and familiarity with T56A-7/15 engines used on the C-130E/H aircraft; functions, components, and location and theory of operation of the propellor and engine systems, aircraft and propulsion system and safety precautions is mandatory.
- Must possess knowledge of training techniques, methods of instruction, learning processes, training curriculum development, training evaluations, use of audio-visual training aids, Computer Based Training (CBT) Systems, and training support systems/procedures.
Typical Education / Experience:
- Shall have at least six (6) years experience in his profession with C-130 aircraft, with at least three (3) years as a Technical Instructor.
- Shall have had practical experience within the past three (3) years.
- Should have experience in course writing and test and measurement procedures.
