| Job Desc: |
IMMEDIATE NEED for a Manager of Material and Process Engineering Dept. for an aerospace manufacturing concern.
Experience with aerospace composite materials and process applications required.
Knowledge and experience with automated composite fabrication technologies and methods preferred.
Manages the engineering staff to provide engineering support to existing product lines and development of new products.
Reviews plans for new product and factors such as strength, weight, and cost to submit material selection recommendations ensuring attainment of design objectives.
Confers with producers of materials such as metals, ceramics, or polymers during investigation and evaluation of materials suitable for specific product applications.
Uses computer software and hardware to conduct tests on chemicals, materials and processes.
Plans and implements laboratory operations to develop material and fabrication procedures for new materials to fulfill product cost and performance standards.

| Requirements: |
Bachelor Degree (BS) in Mechanical Engineering or other appropriate engineering discipline is required, and ten (10) to fifteen (15) more years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Three (3) years in a leadership position must be included in the experience requirement.
A Master’s level degree (MA or MS) in engineering or business is preferred.
Experience may be substituted for the formal education and training requirements in this section at the discretion of management.
Manages from five (5) to twenty (20) salaried professionals.
