The Electronics Technician Maintenance II applies basic and some advanced technical knowledge to solve routine problems by interpreting manufacturers’ manuals or similar documents on assigned equipment to include HMMWV Fleet, LMTV Fleet, MTV Fleet, and HEMMT Fleet: Tactical Trailers which include but are not limited to Flat Bed Trailers, Lowboy Trailers, Fuel Tankers, Light and Medium Cargo Trailers, and Water Trailers; Tactical Forklifts and Cranes, Heavy Construction Equipment items, Tactical Generators, Non-Tactical Trucks, Non-Tactical ATVs and Gators, Tugs, Non-Tactical Trailers and Wash Carts, Non-Tactical Forklifts, Non-Tactical Generators and Small Engines, and pieces of Communications and Electronic equipment. . Work requires familiarity with the interrelationships of circuits and judgment in planning work sequence, in selecting tools, testing instruments, and is reviewed for compliance with accepted practices. This technician works under immediate supervision and achieves technical guidance, as required, from supervisor or higher-level technician

Candidates must have at least 5 years experience on assigned or similar equipment. Must be able to pass background and drug test. Must be able to obtain a DOD Secret Clearence. |
