The Engineering Manager will be responsible for overseeing a team of engineers. Duties include the oversight of avionics, systems, and structural engineers/specialists within the engineering group; improvement of reliability, safety, and cost control. Ensures backlog of engineering work is kept to a minimum; responsible for hiring/staffing engineering group, assists in development and review of engineering projects, develops engineering analysis with the group.
Additionally, the Manager is responsible for handling multiple projects and is responsible for the configuration of assigned fleet type, directs and manages a highly technical group, and assigns work based on ability and knowledge. Responsible for department budget and capital projects as they pertain to aircraft and equipment modifications. Must be able to interact and communicate with outside vendors, FAA, and all levels of management within the company. Participates in the review and approval of major aircraft projects.

RequirementsCandidate must be able to read, write, fluently speak and understand the English language. Education: Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or other related Engineering discipline. Masters degree in a related Engineering discipline is preferred. Experience: Previous experience as an Engineer. Working knowledge of AutoCad and XML is preferred along with experience as an Engineer in the airline industry. Candidates must also have proven project management experience, previous supervisory experience and a working knowledge of Microsoft programs along with the ability to format, author, and review professional documents. Citizenship: United States citizenship or possess the legal right to work in the U.S. Company Benefits: After 30 days of service, new employees will be eligible for our full benefits package.
