Company provides airframe and electronic component repairs for business and commercial aircraft worldwide. Services range from metal and composite structures repair and refinishing to bench electronic lab work.
Assesses maintenance/repair requirements for airframe structural sheet metal and fibrous composite components using technical manuals, service bulletins and other approved data.
vides technical information to engineers for development of repairs outside of approved data scope when required.
Coordinates repair activities of airframe technicians setting priorities and ensuring that schedules are met.
Required Skills/Qualifications:
FAA Airframe certification a plus but not required.
Excellent working knowledge of relevant FAA regulations and their application*.
Minimum of five years experience with aircraft structures under an FAR 145 repair station.
Excellent working knowledge of structural repair procedures including use of tooling and mechanical processes involved in repair of sheet metal and fibrous composites.
Must be well versed in the use of production and repair related prints/drawings.
Intermediate to advanced level computer skills including use of MS Outlook, Word and Excel.
Ability to effectively communicate technical subject matter both orally and in writing.
Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.
