This position assists the Quality Assurance Manager in directing the day-to-day work activities in the planning, implementation & education of the cell(s) ACE Operating System. Area of Expertise: Continuous Improvement / Lean Manufacturing. He/she reports to the Quality Assurance Manager. Oversee development and provide leadership to Site management relative to ACE. Participate in the planning, implementation & education of the cell(s) ACE Operating System. Training coordination, coaching, communication of Best Practices Get people involved Coordinate project management and administer budgeting for ACE program administration. Tracking and reporting of ACE projects Tracking and reporting of cell ACE milestones (Monthly metrics) Coordination and facilitation of ACE status meetings with cell management Prepare for and conduct progress assessments Identify gaps between current state and ACE Gold Integrate ACE standards, best practices, and other site results Initiate, drive and support continuous improvement Analyze and design lean manufacturing cells using effective systems and ACE tools to optimize use of space, equipment, material and personnel Drives culture change to instill focus on fact based management practices, the use of ACE and other problem solving methodologies
