This is a Direct Hire position!!!
Performs a variety of engineering work including design, analysis, substantiation, certification, drawing interpretation and project management as related to transport category aircraft.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
• Create step-by-step work instructions for the removal and installation of hardware and components as they relate to aircraft structures, systems, interiors and avionics.
• Troubleshooting of noted aircraft systems
• Create engineering installation and assembly drawings using AutoCAD or similar software programs. The candidate should already understand standard engineering drawing convention.
• Repair, design and analysis of metal, composite and metal-bond structures
• Knowledge of the Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs - from Title 14 of the Code of Federal Regulations) as they apply to transport category aircraft.
• Familiarity with the Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) process

| Requirements: |
Education / Experience Requirements:
• BS Degree in Engineering (Aerospace or Mechanical preferred) or extensive experience and training in their respective area of expertise to be determined equivalent.
• Typically has completed eight or more years of engineering experience, may have a Master’s Degree and may be a registered engineer.
