The Sales/Brokering Representative initiates contact with sales prospects and customers, responds to purchase inquires, determines parts availability, quotes and sells inventory to meet sales goals and standards, in a manner consistent with the high standards of a world-class operation. He or she reports to the Vice President of Commercial Sales.
Must be very experienced in this position with current customer contacts available.
Duties include, but are not necessarily limited to, the following:- Introduces Aventure Aviation to aircraft operators, lessors, owners and repair stations, and solicits orders through phone, FAX, e-mail, or in person at Aventure Aviation or customer/prospect facilities.
- Serves as Aventure Aviation’s primary point of contact for customers and prospective customers.
- Provides part availability, price and delivery for all inquiries and requests. Will also be required to broker parts and/or service.
- Proactively initiates contact with prospective and current customers (domestic and international).
- Establishes customer identification, determines credit status, collects information regarding shipping, packaging, documentation and other data necessary for Aventure Aviation to support customer requirements in a world-class fashion.
- Issues and coordinates Return Material Authorizations (RMA’s).
- Communicates and coordinates shipping and specialized documentation (as may be applicable), e.g., customer arrangements, HAZMAT forms, as required.
- Maintains customer, prospect and sales records, as prescribed, in paper and/or electronic files.
- Produces assigned sales revenue as prescribed in sales goals and standards.
- Perform any other duties that may be assigned from time to time to support Aventure Aviation or customer requirements.

| Requirements: |
Qualifications:- At least three years current experience in aviation parts sales and brokering, service, logistics or supply functions, in an environment that stressed achievement of performance objectives.
- Must have excellent computer skills as well as the ability, tact, diplomacy, attention to detail and superb communication skills to interact with agents and customers world-wide.
- Experience with Quantum Database, ILS, and Partsbase is a plus.
- Knowledge of world geography is a must.
- Time management and organizational skills to establish priorities, allocate time and resources and ensure follow up.
- Demonstrated track record of productivity; must posses the initiative to seek opportunities as well as the ability to react appropriately to them.
- Must be a team player, to function well as a team member and supporter, and operate effectively in a dynamic environment. Must possess the flexibility to deal successfully with change.
- Domestic and international travel may be required.
General position comments:- The job will entail heavy telephone, FAX and PC activity, with some travel to customer and prospect company sites. Company sites may be international and require travel over seas.
- An ideal candidate will have current experience and a portfolio of customers.
