Job Desc: This is a full time direct hire position!!



The function of this position is to provide management of the Ice and Rain Protection System (IRPS) organization and to provide technical leadership and management of the IRPS.



Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Oversee and coordinate all aspects of IRPS project activities through all phases of the project including preliminary design, detailed design, development, certification, production and product support.



· Actively support the development of company infrastructure.

· Maintain consolidated Engineering Parts List (EPL), weight status and cost status for the IRPS.

· Coordinate manpower to support design, manufacturing support and flight test support activities.

· Coordinate processes, procedures and manpower to support activities of the CRB and MRB related to the IRPS.

· Maintain and present to management integrated project schedule and status for layouts, ICD’s, drawings, development tests, certification tests, flight test plans, ITF tests related to the IRPS.

· Track and report status of action items related to design, development, certification and flight test related to the IRPS.
Requirements: REQUIRED EXPERIENCE· Minimum of 8 years of project engineering and project management experience in the engine/aviation industry.· Within the 8 years of general engine/aviation experience, a minimum of 5 years of detailed technical involvement in the development and certification of aircraft IRPS is required. REQUIRED SKILLS· Significant project engineering experience in design, supplier interface, customer interface and product support of aircraft IRPS. · Understanding of and experience with solid modeling tools and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.· Business management experience including organization building. · Strong presentation skill that can adapt appropriately for a wide range of audiences.· Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively at all levels within an organization. · Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office Software Suite including MS Project.· Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle. · Detailed understanding of and experience with the FAA certification process of IRPS for 14 CFR Part 23 aircraft.
