| Job Desc: |
This position requires a basic knowledge of aircraft interiors and upholstery as it applies to aircraft modifications, repair, refurbishment and reinstallation of interior components.
|
| Requirements: |
- Experience working in a corporate aircraft environment
- 3-5 years experience performing custom seat design and production
- Shape foam and cut patterns for seats
- Inspect seats and parts for uniformity and mechanical function
- Skills in sewing, aircraft seat design, aircraft interior design, and leather work
- Fit panels and windows, cabin head liners, upper sidewalls, lower side panels, hatch panels, windows, cut and surge carpets, cover bulkheads, and covering and installation of panels.
- Work with fabric, vinyl and leather hides, sewing equipment and hardware
- Familiar with proper tools used for upholstery work
- Must be very detail oriented.
- Any other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor or management
