Summary:

Provides supervision to the maintenance programs and technical publications department to produce an efficient, cost effective maintenance program maximizing safety, reliability and economic benefit. The position will supervise union job card writers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Supervises Maintenance Program Specialists and Technical Publications Specialist assigned to the supervisors fleet at multiple locations

· Develops and or implements program changes in compliance with FAA regulatory and company requirements to include the Reliability Control Board processes

· Provides oversight of task job card revision processes

· Ensures that personnel are properly trained and allocated work assignments

· Coordinates other departments requirements within the maintenance program

· Develops metrics designed to measure the progress and effectiveness of departmental initiatives ensuring industry best practices are implemented as required

Position Description

Boeings GoldCare aircraft maintenance product was enhanced in 2010 with an EASA Sub Part M Approval for its European market. The UK based Sub Part M team is now being expanded to take on more activity as the GoldCare portfolio grows in Europe. Several new UK positions have been created to establish a Technical Support Group to manage the front end Part M airworthiness management activity that is aligned with and close to European GoldCare customers. The new roles offer an exciting opportunity to be part of a team working on Boeings newest airplane, the 787, in addition to the GoldCare aircraft maintenance product. As part of this growth an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Planning and Configuration Control Engineer to work directly with airline customers, Maintenance and Repair Organisations (MROs) and regulatory authorities to ensure that GoldCare processes and procedures are understood and properly implemented. We are looking for an experienced Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM) Analyst to be assigned to support ILS related functions for the UK Through Life Customer Support (TLCS) programme, to be based in Gosport, Hampshire. The individual will report to the TLCS Engineering & Supportability Manager, and will coordinate, integrate, manage and perform RCMA to ensure sustainment of Boeing Chinooks Royal Air Force.

The LogNEC Experimentation Lab provides a decision support capability for the LogNEC programme in support of adaptive and transformational changes to the portfolio of LogNEC Information Systems managed by Boeing Defence UK as the Delivery Partner for the programme.
The Modelling & Simulation (M&S) software engineer role within the LogNEC Experimentation Lab will be involved in the integration of existing tools and applications into the LogNEC Experimentation Lab environment and the development of software to meet the needs of each decision support activity.
