Job Description:
Coordination of maintenance training requirements.
Essential Functions:
  • Plan, coordinate, oversee and conduct Indoctrination.
  • Training for all new hires in the Technical Operations department.
  • Plan and/or coordinate all required training for Technical Operations personnel.
  • Plan and coordinate factory training and on-site training.Coordinate with Vendors on offsite and in house training.
  • Works with CASS department in developing corrective actions on training issues that have been identified through the CASS program.
  • Works with Instructors, Department Heads and Subject Matter Experts (SME) on development of new training material to assist Technical Operations Department personnel.
  • Oversee the maintenance training records and updating of the database located on the Company network for all personnel who hold Maintenance Qualifications.
  • Assist Technical Operation Department Heads with maintaining and developing On the Job (OJT) programs.
  • Oversee the compliance of the LMS program.Is a participating member of the Technical Writing Group.
  • Ensure certificated maintenance personnel meet the Recency Experience Requirements (CFR 65.83).
  • Notify applicable manager of the Recency status of all new, furloughed and rehired maintenance personnel.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Maintenance.
Job Requirements:
  • Hold a mechanic's Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant ratings.
  • Meet requirements of 14 CFR part 65.83
  • Have one year of experience in a position responsible for returning aircraft to service
  • Have one year of experience as an instructor within a maintenance department.
  • Have at least 3 years of experience in a supervisory capacity.Have at least three years of experience maintaining the same category and class of aircraft as used by the Company
Salary Range: Negotiable-Negotiable
