The Quality Manager is directly responsible to the Director of Quality and shall assist him/her in the supervision and direction of Main Base Operations 
Essential Duties: 
Shall assist in directing, planning and laying details of inspection standards, methods and procedures utilizes by the Repair Station in complying with all applicable domestic and foreign Aviation Regulation, manufactures specifications and instructions. Responsible for assisting, supervising and directing all inspection personnel assigned to the Quality Department. 
Ensures that all required inspections &amp; tests are properly completed for the maintenance performed prior to its return to service, and that all proper inspection records, reports and forms are properly executed. 
Conduct periodic checks for all inspection tools and calibration of precision test equipment is accomplished and the established calibration periods are not exceeded. 
Ensure that no defective or un-airworthy parts are installed in any component released by this Repair Station. 
Ensures the final acceptances of all incoming material, new parts, as well as products that have had maintenance accomplished by approved vendors, are in an airworthiness condition. 
Inspect for hidden damage, and inspection continuity of all items processed by the Repair Station. 
Ensures that all rejected and unserviceable products is properly tagged and returned to the owner or, with his permission, are mutilated and disposed of. 
Ensures that all Quality inspectors including collateral duty, field maintenance and torque inspectors, perform their duties in accordance with established and standard procedures in the Quality Manual. 
Oversee the initiation, requests for and the follow-up of corrective/preventive actions internal/external audits findings. 
Together with the Director of Quality and other Quality managers, oversee the Company ISO 9001-2008, AS9110 &amp; AS9100 programs. 
Provide technical assistance at the request of all shop personnel and customers as required.

Key Tasks:

&lt;li&gt;Liaise with Dispatch, Warehouse and Operational staff to ensure correct and timely cross load of cargo.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Liaises with the Logistics Manager to report status/ensure proper upkeep of the company assets involved with ramp operations&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Ensures accurate aircraft cargo documents are maintained and reported at the close of each business day Ramp Managers: Mail and Ammo&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Ensures the company operations are executed in accordance with the current Task Force Command Operations Orders (OPORD) and Fragmentary Orders (FRAGO).&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;In cooperation with Aviation Management, ensures the flight Contingency Operations (CONOPs - flight plans/routes) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the company are adhered to&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Ensures that the company personnel and aircraft crews follow all safety and procedural requirements as mandated by Forward Operating Bases&lt;/li&gt;

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

Preferable Skills and Qualifications:

&lt;li&gt;Training from a recognized institution of higher learning is preferred with work experience of at least 1 year in an aviation environment. However, demonstrative work proficiency will be acceptable.&lt;/li&gt;
