We have partnered with an established Part 145 operation based out of Englewood, Colorado to find a Quality Assurance Specialist to join their team. The Quality Assurance Specialist supports the Quality Assurance (QA) Manager in maintaining our client's FAA Part 145 Repair Station compliance standards. This role ensures inspection processes, documentation, training, and regulatory requirements are properly executed, while assisting in maintaining the highest level of safety, quality, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Regulatory Compliance & Inspection Support
- Assist QA Manager and inspection personnel in daily quality assurance functions.
- Verify that all inspections are properly performed, and records, reports, and forms are accurately executed.
- Support execution of FAA Form 337s and maintenance releases when required.
- Documentation & Records Management
- Maintain personnel training and maintenance records for our client's employees.
- Manage files of completed work orders and inspection records for traceability and regulatory review.
- Ensure technical data (manuals, service bulletins, ADs, process specifications) are up to date and available to inspectors.
- Calibration & Tooling Oversight
- Ensure calibration of precision test equipment and inspection tools is performed and documented.
- Maintain accurate records of periodic tool checks and inspections.
- Oversee rejected/unserviceable parts processing and documentation to prevent improper reuse.
- Training & Program Support
- Assist with training program documentation and scheduling.
- Support development and tracking of internal QA initiatives and corrective actions.
- Regulatory Library & Technical Data
- Maintain current files of Federal Aviation Regulations, type certification data sheets, specifications, and ADs.
- Coordinate with inspectors to ensure all repair and overhaul data reflect the latest FAA-approved revisions.
Additional Duties
- Monitor and report quality-related trends to the QA Manager.
- Assist with internal audits and FAA compliance inspections.
- Perform other duties as assigned by company leadership.
