What You’ll Do:
Research, respond to, and resolve inquiries and problems of various complexities referring to established precedents and policies regarding benefit issues and concerns. May be called upon to resolve unique situations or issues. Provide employee benefits presentations (e.g. new hire, group layoff, retirees) as required. Respond to unique questions. Draft the Statement of Work for the vendors and/or programmers, establishes implementation schedules and coordinates with internal organizations (e.g. communications, payroll, etc.) to implement domestic benefits changes. Research and document benefit provisions related to restructuring, as required. Coordinate employee benefit data transfer with vendors and internal customers. Validate and/or correct employee data. Research and prepare ad hoc reports for review. Research, review and compile benefit data for audits and other legal inquiries, as directed.Compile information relevant to benefit appeals from the appropriate sources and forward to supervision. Compile data and respond to benefit surveys. Research and validate general benefits data (e.g. microfiche); performs other specific functions (e.g. pension calculations, deceased employee benefits processing, Qualified Domestic Relations Order, etc.). Audit vendor/carrier compliance to performance standards and report status. Review calculations for accuracy to facilitate retirements.

Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree combined with 6 + years of relevant work experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
