We can help you to reach your goals. Before you become a commercial pilot, you must first earn your Private Pilot certification. Then it is a good idea to obtain your Instrument Rating while working towards your Commercial Pilot Certificate. The Commercial Pilot Certificate requires a minimum of 250 flight hours (150 flight hours for helicopter). Location Location Location Luckily we are located in sunny Las Vegas, NV. North Las Vegas airport and Southern Nevada offer a great flight environment for training. Las Vegas is the perfect place for pilot training. North Las Vegas Airport (VGT) has an operating control tower which builds great communication experience for the beginning pilot. There are instrument approaches at VGT to provide practice while working on your instrument rating. A short 10-minute flight out to the practice area gives us the freedom to train off-airport in the desert. This area gives you great high altitude experience in a mountainous region. We have over 300 days of sunshine a year here in the Las Vegas valley, so your training is not delayed for weather as often as other parts of the world.
