GoAeroMx is looking for Avionics Aircraft Maintenance Technicians for our GoTeams that have experience with Wiring Harness Fabrication and Installation who can travel as needed to support our work requirements.  GoAeroMx is a military-friendly company based at multiple locations in Texas that specializes in installation and modification of upgraded avionics systems, keeping our customers aircraft current with Global Navigation System and Air Traffic Management requirements. 

In this role, you will be supporting remote avionics modification GoTeams with system modifications, installations, coordination, inspections, and logistical duties.  The ability to travel with your own tools is required. Travel, accommodations, and daily per diem are paid.  You may be required to travel up to 80% to support contracted work requirements.

  • Must have Wiring Harness Fabrication and Installation experience utilizing OEM and industry standard technical data.
  • Must have a working knowledge of EWIS principals and Routing methodology on Transport category aircraft.
  • Perform safe, error free maintenance repairs and alterations in accordance with approved technical data.
  • Provide continuity of maintenance when shift changes or work assignment changes occur in accordance with the procedures set forth in the company manuals.
  • Ensure the proper completion of maintenance logs for work in progress, work completed, or work carried over as well as other required forms and records.
  • Ensure that adequate tools, parts, materials, support equipment, and facilities are available, inspected, and maintained in a clean serviceable condition.
  • Review repair tags to see that no defective parts or materials are used in the completion of work.
  • Ensure high standards of workmanship are applied.
  • Undertake other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  • Assure the airworthiness of the aircraft maintained by GoAeroMx meet the requirements of CFR's part 43, 91, 121, 125, 125M, 135 and 145 as applicable.
  • Terminating connectors via crimping with properly selected hand tooling.
  • Attaches lugs, splices, and other terminal devices using various hand tools, pneumatic tools, and soldering equipment.
  • Provide for the maintenance, preventive maintenance, repair, overhaul, or modification of the aircraft and components operated by GoAeroMx customers, following the manufacturer's technical data, procedures, and customer’s manuals.
  • Maintain complete, current, and orderly records as required by the maintenance publications and the CFR's.
  • Provide a system of ground support, either through company operated equipment, or through contracts with properly qualified agencies.
Job Requirements:
  • Must meet the requirements of 14 CFR § 65.83 and read, write, speak and understand the English language.
  • Three (3) or more years of directly related technical experience.
  • Thorough knowledge of Avionics troubleshooting and installation procedures.
  • Advanced knowledge of aircraft mechanical component troubleshooting, repair procedures and replacement of parts.
  • Advanced knowledge of electrical theory.
  • Current FAA Airframe and Power-Plant (A&P) certificate required for Line Maintenance operations.
  • Must have the appropriate experience, evidenced by employment history, training, certification or practical tests to perform in a supervisory position.
  • Knowledge of reading, interpreting drawings, diagrams, and manuals; aircraft avionics/other systems; wire coding systems; avionics test equipment; knowledge of manuals necessary to perform job; troubleshoot aircraft electrical & aviation systems, and to measure using a variety of basic and precision measuring.
  • Ability to use and navigate a computer with above average skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
  • Must be able to pass background check and DOT drug screening.
  • Current valid U.S. Passport.
  • Current valid Driver’s License.
