We have partnered with a part 145 operation to identify an Avionics Technician. The technician is responsible for performing inspections, testing, troubleshooting, installations, and certifications of avionics systems on corporate and general aviation aircraft.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform avionics line maintenance, troubleshooting, modifications, and installations on corporate aircraft.
- Conduct RVSM recertifications and 91.411/413 pitot-static and transponder system checks in full compliance with FAA requirements.
- Read, interpret, and execute maintenance manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics to perform repairs and installations.
- Utilize specialized avionics test equipment to evaluate, calibrate, and return systems to service.
- Ensure all work complies with FAA regulations, the company’s Repair Station Manual, Quality Control Manual, and Training Manual.
- Document all maintenance actions accurately and timely in accordance with FAA and company standards.
- Provide professional communication and status updates to customers and internal leadership.
- Notify the Director of Maintenance of potential project delays and coordinate solutions.
- Maintain shop cleanliness, tool control, and proper handling of all equipment and parts.
- Work overtime as necessary to meet project and customer deadlines.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned in support of the company’s repair station operations.
