Job Title: Aircraft Avionics Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Avionics Technician to join our team in Hagerstown, MD. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing aircraft systems, including navigation, radio communications, weather radar systems, and other essential instruments. You will perform inspections, adjustments, and repairs to ensure the aircraft operates efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities
- Repair, maintain, and install systems used for aircraft navigation and radio communications.
- Perform inspections and make necessary adjustments and repairs to aircraft systems.
- Replace components and correct any malfunctions or deficiencies with and without power applied to aircraft.
- Conduct aircraft maintenance in accordance with applicable technical data, SOPs, and FAA regulations.
- Utilize wire harness fabrication skills for heavy modification and avionics installation.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to aircraft electrical systems.
Essential Skills
- 5+ years of experience in aircraft installation and troubleshooting.
- Experience with wire harness building and fabrication.
- Proficiency in working in MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) facilities.
- Must have tools etched and shadowed.
- Eligibility for security clearance.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Military background preferred (Marine Corps, Air Force, Army).
- Experience working with government contractors on extensive MOD work.

Work Environment
The position is based in a Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) facility, focusing on military ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance) modifications on various aircraft types, including C-12 and Bombardier Global. The work environment is fast-paced, with specific tasks and work orders to be completed within designated timelines. The facility operates on multiple shifts, typically from Monday to Friday, with overtime as necessary. Employees are expected to wear standard attire, including jeans, a t-shirt, and steel-toed shoes.

This is a Contract position based out of Hagerstown, Maryland.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $46.00 - $48.00/hr.
