Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Avionics Technician to join our team. This role involves the inspection, troubleshooting, and installation of avionics systems, with a strong emphasis on safety and adherence to company protocols.
Responsibilities
- Perform avionics inspection, troubleshooting, and installations on aircraft.
- Train and execute company safety programs.
- Inspect and examine aircraft components, performing necessary repairs.
- Read and utilize blueprints, maintenance manuals, ATA codes, illustrated parts catalogs, and service bulletins for troubleshooting and completing work assignments.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring/testing instruments effectively.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of a diverse workforce and work independently without regular supervision.
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, repairs, maintenance procedures, and ordered parts.
Essential Skills
- 5+ years of experience in turboprop/fixed-wing general aviation/piston engine avionics.
- Experience with avionics troubleshooting and installations on aircraft such as Cirrus, Piper, Cessna, Mooney, Beechcraft, Pilatus.
- Ability to read, interpret, and analyze blueprints and schematics.
- Demonstrated team collaboration and communication skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- High school diploma with aviation-specific training (2-year associate degree preferred).
- Possession of a minimum basic tool set/toolbox.
- Experience with technical manual database software.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience on general aviation aircraft.

Work Environment
Work hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. Candidates must reside within 30 minutes of the facility.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $36.00/hr.
