Job Description:
HQ Aero is currently recruiting for experienced Avionics Technicians in Tucson, AZ.
 
Responsibilities:
As an Avionics Technician, you will be required to:
  • Troubleshoot, repair, inspect, modify and service aircraft avionics, electrical and electronic equipment. 
  • Document all work performed per regulations as required. 
  • Should demonstrate ability to read/understand electrical engineering drawings.   
Essential Job Functions:
  • Must be able to work as a part of a team in a high-stress, fast-paced environment. 
  • Must be a self-starter, able to work with little to no guidance. Must be a highly motivated, detail-oriented, organized, with the ability to multi-task. 
  • Must be computer proficient.
  • Physical Demands: The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, Position requires frequent walking, standing and/or climbing.
  • Work Environment: FAR Part 135 aircraft maintenance in a hangar and ramp environment.
 
Job Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years (3+years preferred) of experience troubleshooting, build ups & modifications. 
  • Regional aircraft experience is a plus! 
  • Airframe License is preferred. 
  • Tools must be etched.
  • Must be available to work any shift.
  • Criminal Background Check required. 
  • Compliant to FAA Drug and Alcohol screening and background checks mandatory.
