Job Title: Avionics Test TechnicianJob Description
We are seeking dedicated Avionics Test Technicians to join our team across three shifts. You will be responsible for the calibration of instrumentation, troubleshooting, and repair of customer-owned units to the component level, handling both analog and digital circuitry. This role requires adherence to FAR 145 repair station guidelines and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Calibrate IS&S instrumentation accurately.
- Troubleshoot and repair customer units down to the component level.
- Work with analog and digital circuitry.
- Follow FAR 145 repair station guidelines and procedures.
Essential Skills
- Two years of technical or equivalent education.
- Five years of experience in testing or maintaining electronic equipment.
- Ability to troubleshoot down to the component level.
- Experience with Surface Mount Technology and through-hole solder technology.
- Familiarity with video and Ethernet circuitry troubleshooting, particularly with Flat Panel Instruments.
- Blueprint and schematics experience.
- Proficiency in using electronic testing equipment such as scopes, multimeters, power supplies, and frequency counters.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Preferred experience with CTDI, Boeing, Lockheed Martin, or BAE.
- Open to candidates from outside the aviation industry with a strong electrical skills.
