Our client is seeking detail-oriented and mechanically inclined individuals to join their production team as Wire Harness Builders in Cleveland, OH. This role supports a high-visibility aerospace project and involves hands-on assembly of wiring harnesses used in aircraft systems. While prior aviation experience is a plus, it is not required &x2014; this is an excellent opportunity for entry-level candidates looking to break into the aviation industry or expand their skillset in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assemble wire harnesses and electrical components according to work instructions, diagrams, or schematics.
Cut, strip, crimp, route, and terminate wires using hand tools and automated equipment.
Install heat shrink, labels, and protective coverings per specifications.
Inspect work for accuracy and quality; perform basic continuity checks as needed.
Maintain clean, organized workstations and adhere to safety and quality standards.
Document work performed and communicate any issues to leads or supervisors.
Collaborate with teammates and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) to meet production timelines.
Requirements Basic mechanical aptitude or hands-on assembly experience required.
Ability to read and interpret basic instructions, schematics, or wiring diagrams preferred.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow repetitive processes with consistency.
Aviation or wire harness experience is highly preferred, but not required.
Must be able to stand, bend, and work with small components for extended periods.
Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and pass background check and drug screen.
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
