About the Company
Since 1979, CareFlite has provided air and ground ambulance services to the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. CareFlite is the oldest joint use helicopter program in the United States and the eighth oldest air medical program. Today, CareFlite, a 501(c)3 nonprofit, operates six helicopter bases, 911, critical and non-critical care ground ambulance, wheelchair van service, fixed wing air ambulance, a state-of-art communications center, and an outreach education program.
