Summary of Essential Duties:

  • Maintain necessary communication with all flight crewmembers, dispatch and station personnel related to flight crewmembers schedules.
  • Continuous auditing and verification of coverage of all scheduled flights
  • Assist in the creation of monthly schedules and/or bid lines for flight crewmembers.
  • Maintain monthly flight schedules in FOS software (dispatch and scheduling system).
  • Notification of changes to flight crewmembers daily/monthly schedule changes.
  • Continuous monitoring of flight crewmembers schedules to ensure legality/FAR compliance for 135.
  • Utilization of reserve flight crewmembers in the most efficient and expedient method necessary to ensure operational reliability.
  • Logistics coordination to include such as hotel reservations, ground transportation, air transportation and the associated expenses.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to all flight crewmembers through handling all scheduling related items including relaying correct policy, procedural, and regulatory information.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned by leadership.
Job Requirements:
  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Be authorized to work in the United States and able to travel in and out of the United States.
  • Must have a valid driver license and good driving record.
  • Possess high school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Must understand, read, and write English.
  • Prior experience with a Part 135 operations, the aviation industry, or travel services is preferred.
  • Possess polished and professional interpersonal skills with a positive attitude and a customer-oriented mindset
  • Possess strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Must have well-developed people skills and ability to work with a variety of personalities.
  • Able to coordinate multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Able to handle interruptions and work in a fast fast-paced environment.
  • Maintain strong attention to detail.
  • Be self-motivated and able to motivate others.
  • Effective decision maker and problem solver.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal delivered with tact and professionalism.
  • Work independently or as part of a team.
  • Able to pass a 10-year work history review and submit to criminal background and fingerprint checks.
  • Able to work nights, weekends, holidays, and varying schedules.
  • Operational knowledge of laptop and desktop computers, working knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, or related presentation programs. Operational knowledge of Outlook is required. Competency with internet navigation is also required.
  • Ability to work in a safe professional manner adhering to all regulatory requirements including OSHA, EPA, state, and federal regulations.
  • Must be able to perform basic mathematical computations using both decimals and hours/minutes as well as use of a 24-hour clock.
  • Rockwell Collins FOS or similar crew scheduling software familiarity preferred.
