Description:Performs thermal and fluid flow analyses of rotorcraft sub-systems such as: gas turbine engine inlets, exhausts, engine compartment cooling, fuel systems, avionics installations, pneumatic systems, and environmental control systems. Uses state of the art analysis software ranging in fidelity from 1d fluid network software to 3D Computational Fluid Dynamic (CFD) Tools. Support preliminary and detailed analytical design activities, interface with a cross-functional group of propulsion, electrical, avionics, and airframe engineers.

Basic Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications :Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education. 

Sound fundamental knowledge of fluid mechanics, heat transfer and computational techniques. Strong interest in performing engineering analyses, supporting design and test of rotorcraft sub-systems
Desired Skills:
Some expertise in CAD software such as Catia V5. Expertise in STARCCM+, Java and Python.. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
