Seeking an experienced engineer for assignment to the CH-53K System Engineering team. The responsibilities of the System Engineer include, but are not limited to the standard system engineering process areas such as Requirements Development and Management, System Integration and Issue Resolution, Verification & Validation, Technical Review coordination in support of the test aircraft and any test readiness reviews.
The candidate will interact daily with the Chief System Engineer and the System Engineering Managers. This will be an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to assume a role which includes multi-functional and cross-company team interaction and customer interface.

Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.
5+ years of professional experience required. Experience in system engineering, in the analysis, design and/or test of helicopter systems is desired.
This job requires an understanding of the operation and interrelationships of aircraft systems; an appreciation for the impact that configuration or requirements changes may have on performance related attributes, cost and schedule. Strong verbal and written communication skills are required. The individual will need to be able to work with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and ensure the successful integration of design solutions and changes.
Candidate must have MS Office Product familiarity specifically experience with Excel.
Seeking a candidate that is well organized, and highly motivated, and is a self-starter with demonstrated ability to achieve results.
Experience in Flight Test Environment on 53K Program and experience with NAVAIR Flight Clearance Processes preferred.
Experience and proficiency with Matrix1, LCA, Solumina, Catia and/or FACTS preferred.

Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
