The Data Engineer will be developing Cyber Command's elite Joint Data Engineer course. This course will be a mix of hands-on labs and lecture. Once the course has completed development, the Data Engineer will be responsible for teaching other instructors as well as instructing the course to Air Force students.
Provides technical expertise and support of Data Engineering courseDevelop Data Engineering curriculum in accordance with Cyber Command guidanceTake Cyber Command Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Tasks and turn these into teachable lessonsInstruct Air Force students with basic cyber skills and prepare them to be Basic Qualified Data Engineers on Cyber Protection TeamsMaintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assignedOther duties as assigned
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Engineering, Data Science, Computer Programming/Analysis, or Software Design/DevelopmentExperience in Java, Python, and C/C#IAT/M Level II CertificationAble to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Clearance/SCIWe maintain a drug-free workplace and perform post offer, pre-employment substance abuse testing.
