Oversee successful execution of ongoing projects.
Lead transition and start-up of new projects.
Electrical Engineer SME will focus on sensors, mission systems, and research.
Work with subordinate Project Managers and/or Technical Leads to identify, monitor and mitigate risks.
Ensure projects meet technical, schedule, cost and quality objectives.
Inform and advise the Government on technology innovations and issues that impact execution.
Support government activities to transition capabilities to system program o ffi ces (SPOs).
Provide solution guidance/direction to technical staff.
Assess and evaluate new project requirements, identify schedule, resource, and cost for execution.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of Electrical engineering and advanced concepts.
Knowledge of cost, schedule, and performance.
Ability to lead and contribute to complex teams.
Ability to contribute to government-led multi-disciplinary teams.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Detail oriented and capable of completing multiple time-sensitive tasks.
Must be able to prioritize workloads.
Must thrive in fast-paced, changing environment with minimal supervision.
Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Office.
Experience and Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Systems Engineering or related field in engineering or test.
15 years of relevant professional experience working in a DoD environment; Air Force experiences preferred.
Experience in systems or Electrical engineering and software development lifecycles.
Track record for managing complex technical projects with aggressive schedules.
Experience leveraging SIGINT, GEOINT, IMINT and/or Cyber in support of military operations.
Background in sensors, mission systems, and research.
Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
Desired Additional Qualifications :
Working experience or familiarity with the AF TENCAP mission.
Experience managing multiple or diverse technical projects.
Experience as a software development manager or systems engineering manager.
Experience with DoD systems engineering processes.
Experience with Agile and DevOps processes.
Certi fi ed Project Management Professional or equivalent.
Physical Requirements/Working Environment:
Office and vault environments.
Must successfully pass pre-employment drug screening; subsequent random screening per anti-drug and alcohol misuse prevention program requirements.
Travel will likely be required and will be performed under the guidelines of Federal Travel Regulations (FTR) and/or Joint Travel Regulations, Volume II (JTR). In rare instances, travel may require visits overseas to support operational testing of capabilities.
