The successful candidate will be part of the Hybrid Platform Engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

•Extensive experience administering on-premises Linux and/or Windows systems on virtualization platforms, including SAN and storage solutions.

•Perform system administration and troubleshooting in accordance with company policies and procedures.
•Monitor and optimize system performance to ensure operational efficiency.
•Create and maintain documentation and operational processes.
•Support audit activities, infrastructure/network security scans, disaster recovery, and security drills.
•Research, evaluate, and deploy new technologies to reduce costs and improve operational efficiency.
•Deliver automation solutions using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Ansible, Python, and Terraform to enhance agility.
•Provide on-call support according to the roster for troubleshooting and planned maintenance of production systems.

Requirements

• Possess a degree in Information Technology or related fields.
• Minimum of 5 years of IT experience, including at least 3 years in a similar hands-on role.
• Proven experience managing both Unix (Linux and/or AIX) and Windows servers, with expert-level knowledge (certification preferred) in at least one area, covering installation, configuration, security, networking, storage, patching, and hardening.
• Experience working in Virtualization environments.
• Practical experience administering SAN and related storage technologies.
• Proficient in scripting and automation using Python and Ansible for provisioning and managing dynamic infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure components including virtualization technologies, storage, networking, internet protocols, operating systems, scripting and monitoring tools, and IT security.
• Experience with Agile methodologies, DevOps, CI/CD, and related tools is preferred.
• Strong analytical, project management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
